This was a week-long event in which Ancestral Traditions and Crossborder Cultural Transformations were discussed in relationship to the celebration of the Día de Muertos.

In Fall 2019, Me and my students from International Media and Introduction to Media organized a week-long international conference on the Day of the Dead with the support of a grant from the Humanities Center, featuring speakers from Mexico and the US, and I have curated the Day of the Dead altar in our campus as it has become a yearly tradition.
